What is the purpose of having light aswell as LOVE and how does that help you to live a life filled with happiness and joy and less pain and suffering?
We want to be creative and happy doing things that make us shine, creating projects or art and feeling super awesome! What if instead we have suffered a large or a lot of trauma, grief or bereavement and we are filled with loss, the sense of betrayal and shock, how do we get back into our place of feeling love for ourself and enjoyment of activities again? Instead of masking the pain and numbing our feelings, we need a way to process our feelings and move forward into happy times once again.
We know what LOVE is as we feel that for others, for animals for our children and nature. But what is LIGHT and how can it help us with moving through tricky times back into joy once more. Maybe we don’t feel love for ourselves anymore, and this will of course make us sad. This is where the term LIGHT comes in! LIGHT is the term I like to use for what we will do to feel love again.
I like metaphors and analogies, so this term light is of course so simple to explain that way.
You are lost in the dark, instead of seeing clearly, pain is masking real life and makes it seem as though darkness is all around you. You still have to keep walking each day though, but in the dark without place markers and being able to see signs and friendly faces around you. What do you do? Well probably best to walk slowly in the dark and feel your way instead of rushing forward. Put out your hands and feel the hands of a loved one there with you. Someone who loves you, or someone who works with love will give you a little torch. This small arc of light when you switch it on shows you just enough to see where to place your next step, maybe even a couple of steps forward. This is what LIGHT is, LIGHT is the way of your highest path and purpose, that means your highest divine good. The way back into love again, rather than a side step without more love, or a negative rocky path downwards against your true positive soul self.
The beauty of being a light worker is that there is always light, Even in the darkest of places, there is always a light worker there who will show the next step forward. However the challenge when you are in a very very dark place is that the next step is not going to drive you forwards, because it is so very dark and painful it doesn’t look appealing to you to only take one step. That does not feel worth it does it, when you have so much pain you want that pain to just disappear even for only a few minutes. To numb the pain where you are instead of just taking a very dull one step. So I like to use the metaphor to help out of course I do! That is what people with a big mind palace do, to quote Sherlock Holmes lol. If you stay in that same spot of pain, and numb the feelings, you have the same level of love and pain still, the rocky terrain will not change. If you take hold of that little torch and wave it around to see the next steps all around you and take just one step in a positive direction that you choose, what happens then is that your connection to love (love of every aspect, self and the world) will grow exponentially with each step if you choose yourself in that step that little happy whisper of something good for you. In the vision I have when you take that step, your little torch changes up, from a teeny tiny flashy LED 12 volt light, to a sparkly set of faery lights maybe all around your whole body, your torch is still there of course in your hand too, but because you took a step into love, the divine or god or whatever goodness you believe in sends that love from the corners of every place good and wonderful and back to you and wraps you up in those faery lights. So now your next step after that one will be much easier to spot as light shines out from many more directions around and outside of you to show you more new little steps.
This step can be done a million times and a million more, you don’t ever have to stop, even if you fall down in the dark again they are always there and they are not hard or difficult, maybe they will be different because time keeps moving on and the year keeps unfolding. But that little torch and those faery lights will always be there for you, in different forms.
