Jennifer Smith Body Dysmorphia

Good Sportsperson-ship vs dysmorphia

Sounds like a funny band name doesn’t it lol!

But as silly as it sounds the message here is key, we all want to be accepted for being exactly who we are, just as we are right now. That is perfect isn’t it?

What if we had body dysmorphia and we didn’t like the way we looked every time we looked in the mirror or through different eyes, and that filled us with dread of getting up every day and getting dressed having to touch our bodies and feel like we are wearing a different skin almost? That would be a very disappointing way to live life wouldn’t it – because life is a game for having fun and hanging out with the crewdem!

When I wrote dysmorphia just then, my PC tried to change it dysphoria (annoying little auto-correct gremlin there lol) – a similar emotion if I am not wrong though folks? Dysphoria could result from post-traumatic stress, rejection sensitivity, bereavement, things like that.

Dysphoria is very dangerous indeed and leads to disassociation. Body dysmorphia is like that where we are disassociated from our own skin, we feel very negative about our own bodies and in severe cases can lead to very deep feelings of pain and depression. So let us all be working towards being happy and comfortable with our gifts from “god” or the “divine” or “our parents” as our bodies, each and every one are special and unique! The worst kind of bullying I feel is when others make fun of how we look, how absolutely mean and vile! How awful to be bullied for looking a certain way! Only small minded people would do that, perhaps like children do without realising the consequences of how it feels – but children are ultimately ace and soon learn not to do this as they are quick studies aren’t they, all of them! They soon learn how that feels, to be isolated, or how bullying makes them feel bad and they soon stop!

No-one should ever feel isolated from their peers or elders/children alike! Good sportsperson-ship means every one gets to play on a level playing field! Then we feel part of a team and connected to the energy of life again. That connection is vital for life and for living a fulfilling happy and rewarding time here on Earth. Yours, and our, life is right now and should be lived to the full!

I really enjoy physical games as I like being high-energy and running around, but other games are just as good! I liked hockey and netball and music but now I will learn to play “chess” lol for that!

I enjoy games the best where you alternate between one being the winner, then the other being the winner so then in the end everyone is the winner and that is the best feeling in the whole world LMFAO party rocking! I just like feeling alive and I hope you all do.

Sending out much love and kindness and respect!

Thank-you for reading my funny tales!
